For some odd reason, both the news server and the website for aioe.org
seem to be unavailable. I'm having to post from Google Groups. Let me
know if you received another of my earlier test posts. It doesn't seem
to have gotten anywhere.

I didn't get any test posts aside from this one, but if you're seeing

Yeah, well it was. I sent a reply, then waited for a couple of hours.
When I tried to read news with SLRN:
slrn 0.9.8.1 [2004-10-07]
Reading startup file /etc/slrn.rc.
Using newsrc file /home/brian/.jnewsrc for server news.aioe.org.
Connecting to host news.aioe.org ...
Failed to initialize server
slrn fatal error:
Failed to initialize server.
[1]+ Done
Server seems to be very unreliable. Either that or these problems are
on my side. Judging I couldn't get on about 0130 this morning, I think
it's my internet connection.
